We can etch or engrave most forms of natural stone such as granite, marble, slate, sandstone, river rock, etc and have made-to-order products and custom design options available in our shop. Darker stone such as slate, marble, or river rock shows the best results with a fiber optic laser while transparent stones such as crystal, gemstones, agates, etc do not mark or engrave well. The best detail can be obtained on fine-particle stone such as marble or slate, or ceramics and porcelain. Composite stone with larger particles such as granite can be engraved, but do not hold detail very well due to the variety and size of the particles that make up the material.
